## Summary

CHK123 is an offline-first documentation tool operated through the electexbiotech project. CHK123 content and run measurements are stored in the browser on the device you use. The application does not provide accounts or cloud synchronization and does not intentionally upload checklist content, measurements, asset numbers, serial numbers, notes, diagrams, test-equipment records, or generated reports to the operator.

The public site is hosted by Vercel. Like other web hosts, Vercel may process request information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, request URL, timestamps, browser/device information, and diagnostic logs. CHK123 does not currently load Vercel Web Analytics or another optional analytics script.

## Information stored on your device

CHK123 can store checklists, Sections, measurements, free-text notes, asset and serial numbers, test-equipment records, calibration exceptions, user unit formulas, barometric-source configuration, a random device identifier, responsibility acknowledgement, and temporary run drafts in IndexedDB or localStorage. Linked diagram files remain in the folder you select. Anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to view this information.

CHK123 does not encrypt this local browser storage and is not designed for health, customer, employee, or other sensitive personal information, credentials, government identifiers, or other highly sensitive personal information. Clearing browser/site data can permanently erase it. Use Export as a backup and protect exported files appropriately.

## Barometric sources and API keys

If you configure a barometric endpoint, its URL and optional API key are stored locally. When you request a reading, the key is sent only to the endpoint you configured, either as a request header or—if you select query mode—in the URL. URLs and query parameters may appear in browser, proxy, or destination-server logs. Prefer header mode and use only services whose privacy and security practices you accept.

## Exports and local folders

Exports are created on your device. You may send exported Sections or Checklists directly using a channel you choose; CHK123 does not receive, host, review, or redistribute those peer-shared files. CHK123 does not control where you save or send them. Reports may contain operational or personal information. Peer exports omit device binding and selected asset-profile fields; review every file before sharing it. File System Access permissions and folder handles are managed by your browser.

## Purposes and retention

Local information is used to provide the features you request. It remains until you delete it, clear site data, replace/import data, or the browser removes it. Hosting logs are handled under Vercel's published policies and the operator's hosting configuration.

## Sharing and international processing

The operator does not sell CHK123 data. Hosting request information may be processed by Vercel and its service providers in other countries. Data you send to a barometric endpoint is handled by that endpoint's operator.

## Your choices

You can use core cached features without an account, avoid adding personal information, avoid configuring third-party endpoints, export your information, delete individual library items, or clear all CHK123 site data through browser settings. You may contact the address above with privacy questions or requests concerning information held by the project operator. The operator usually cannot retrieve locally stored records because they never leave your device.

## Changes

Material changes will be dated in this notice. If future versions add accounts, synchronization, analytics, or other server processing, this notice and any required choices must be updated before those features are enabled.
